Collection that proposes work with texts, grammar, vocabulary and videos in an integrated, intelligent and in line with the interests of the student of High School. It presents diverse content and a significant number of activities to develop fluency in the language. Into English is an appropriate work for students connected to the world, who travel and are interested in different subjects in the universe of music and culture. In addition, it is a visually and conceptually planned series. It is integrated in such a way that even the episodes of the videos are part of the universe of the student of the High School. In volumes 1 and 2, the grammar is presented in Portuguese. Throughout the collection, grammatical rules are presented inductively in small boxes. In the activities of listening and speaking there is special care with the practice of pronunciation. With a revision every two units, the collection favors the learning not only of those students who are easier to assimilate the language, but also of those who need reinforcement. In addition to answers to all exercises, audio transcripts, and tips, the Teacher´s Guide provides detailed lesson plans. It also offers suggestions for activities for heterogeneous groups, cultural annotations on the topics covered in the texts and useful information related to the grammatical aspects. The Manual also presents a great diversity of activities and tests (types A and B) for the teacher to apply. By having a large supply of extra materials the collection is ideal for the teacher who has more than two hours of class per week. However, its versatility allows it to be used also in schools that fall within the standard hours, with only two hours of weekly classes. In the course of the units you will find the Learner Tips. Based on the Cambridge Learner Corpus, they activate the student´s most common error recognition mechanisms in order to avoid them. The CLIL section promotes an intense interdisciplinary work with the realization of projects. The section Into Culture, presented every two units, is an example of choosing texts with current themes and pertinent to the reality of the student. Photostory is a dialogue between the characters of the book that seeks to reproduce real and everyday situations of the student, related to the theme of unity. It is also worth mentioning that there is at the end of the student´s book a section with questions of the Enem and vestibular tests.
